Set of Four Holmegaard Gulv Vases by Otto Brauer, in Amber
Set of four Mid-Century Holmegaard Gulv-Vases by Otto Brauer, in amber.
These typical Danish Modern glass bottle vases were manufactured by Kastrup Holmegaard in Denmark during the 1950s or 1960s. Two of the vases still retain an original label. The round one should read "Kastrup Holmegaard - By Appointment to H.M. - The King Of Denmark - Made In Denmark". It is partially worn off, but you can still read a part of it.
These vases would make great display pieces on your sideboard or your library. Can be used empty, just as sculptural elements, or filled with flowers or dried botanical elements.
The Gulvvase was originally designed by Otto Brauer in 1935.
Sizes:
2x height 14.17" (36cm) / diameter 5.9" (15cm)
