Coral Fiberglass Armchair by Charles Eames for Herman Miller, 1957
This armchair was designed by Charles Eames for Herman Miller.
It comes with a coral fiberglass shell and an original Eiffel base (no reproduction base).
The fibers on the seat are very visible which is typical for the older shells. It has been produced on the 16th of August, 1957 by GATC (General American Transportation Corporation in Chicago). The company was one of the first subcontractors of Herman Miller for fiberglass shells. These shells are recognizable by the embossed double triangle logo.
