Ceramic & Wood Side Table Jens Thirslund for Herman Kähler, Denmark, 1960s
Scandinavian Mid-Century side table. Made of Ceramic tiles and solid wood, probably teak. Jens Thirslund (1892-1942), created the drawings of the tiles.
Manufactured by Herman A Kähler Ceramic (HAK) in the town of Naestved in southern Denmark.
The Kähler brand is still appreciated as one of Denmark's greatest 20th century ceramic successes.
The lamp is signed with the company brand abbreviation "HAK".
