Ingenious desk lamp with a counterweight mechanism which allows the lamp to be stable in every position. The spheric counterweight is made of solid steel and heavy enough to position the lamp as desired.

A throughout solid and precise construction which suggests that this lamp was only manufactured in small quantities. The triangular base of the lamp is made of a steel-tube painted black, the mechanism is made of brushed stainless steel, the tube which supports the shade of chromed steel. The shade is made of aluminium painted black outside and white inside.

It has a distinctive form inspired by architecture which gives the lamp a post-modern look. The exact date of manufacture is unknown, but the styling is reminiscent of the late 1970s or mid-1980s.
