Table lamp designed by Inge-Lise Koefoed from the late 1960s or early 1970s. Impressive bold graphic design, featuring a decor in dark blue with greyish / beige elements. 

This lamp has been manufactured by Royal Copenhagen and sold by Fog & Mørup, Denmark.

It is part of the "Tenera" series which was initially sold under the Aluminia brandname. The brand-name was changed to Royal Copenhagen in 1972. This lamp is marked “Fog & Morup Copenhagen” and "A" for Alumini, so it has been manufactured before 1972.

This lamp did exist in different 3 sizes. This is the smallest size.

Nils Thorsson became Art Director of Royal Copenhagen in 1958. He introduced several young female artists from Denmark, Norway and Sweden to the company to create a new house-style. The new stoneware and faience series produced during the 60s and 70s became a big success for Royal Copenhagen.

Inge-Lise Kofoed was one of these artists, she was educated at the Arts and Crafts School in Copenhagen 1956-1960.

For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting bulbs, new wiring with EU plug. The plug can be replaced by a US plug. The lamp works on 110v and 220v.
