Pair of Crown Candleholders in Brass by Pierre Forsell for Skultuna Sweden 1960s
A pair of candle-sticks made of solid brass, created by Pierre Forssell. Model "Crown".
Designed by Pierre Forssell and manufactured in Sweden by Skultuna. The company was founded by King Carl IX of Sweden in 1607. Pierre Forsell worked between 1955 and 1986 for Skultuna and introduced contemporary design. He created many objects for them, mainly candleholders and tableware in brass.
Vintage condition with nice and natural patina. Easy to polish if you prefer.
For candles of +/- 0.43" / 11mm diameter.
Stamped with the signature of Pierre Forssell and "Skultuna 1607 Sweden" beneath.
