LCW Lounge Chair in Walnut by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller, 1950s
An early LCW (Lounge Chair Wood) in Walnut.
Produced by Herman Miller between 1952 and 1958 (the production of the LCW has been stopped in 1958 until its re-introduction in 1994).
Original state and finish, never restored ! It becomes more and more difficult to find vintage LCWs these days, even more unrestored ones. It has some small nicks and scratches and 2 small touch-up's to the veneer (one on the backrest and one very small on the seat panel).
It has it's original screws and the Herman Miller label. Even the shock-mounts, including the one of the back panel which fails usually, are the originals.
The chair has a very nice patina. A collectors item.
