Svend Aage Holm Sørensen (1913-2004) was a danish designer. He is known for his self-produced lightings. He probably designed lamps for other danish manufacturers before creating his own business.
Holm Sørensen’s style was first influenced by Modernism, De Stijl and even Bauhaus. In the 1960s, Holm Sørensen’s style changed completely. He began to work with unfinished brass and copper surfaces in typical Brutalist style, which was popular from the 1950s to the mid-70s.
